Kelly came to teach through her personal experience of what science has recently observed with meditation and mindfulness - that we can literally change the neurological configurations of the brain, repattern the nervous system, heal our body and more. Her practice has inspired her teaching over the years primarily through the experience of finding freedom and genuine happiness - she couldn't imagine keeping the path to herself. Her hope is to offer the framework, the practices, and the space to explore the possibilities of new ways of engaging in life that may relieve the unnecessary struggles with what-is in ones own human experience. She believes that it is entirely possible for everyone to find their own unique path to freedom if they so choose. It's not about perfection, it's not about having a silent mind 100% of the time, and it's not about arriving at some enlightened plateau where nothing can touch you. No, it's about transforming hard times and heart ache into gifts designed to motivate growth, insightfulness, and a new degree of unwavering inner strength. It's simple, but not always easy.
discovered yoga in 2000 when she took her first ashtanga class, which proved to be both mystifying + challenging, and left her curious to learn more. As a nomad who has lived in 8 different states over the years, she has had the good fortune to gain exposure to many different styles of hatha yoga and has had the privilege of learning from many exceptional teachers along the way. Now as the parent of 2 busy children, she appreciates both the calming and the playful aspects of the practice in her own life and loves using yoga to gain a different perspective on things when life gets challenging.
Ashley received her Prenatal Yoga training from Boulder locals Katie Wise & Kirsten Warner; in 2013, she trained in the vinyasa flow style with Jacqui Bonwell of the Boston-area Sacred Seeds School of Yoga. In 2012, Ashley received her Children’s/Family Yoga certification through ChildLight Yoga of Dover, NH. She has worked with children and families in daycare settings and schools as well as through the Brookline, MA Department of Recreation. Ashley has taught Prenatal and Family/Toddler + Me classes in Boulder since returning to Colorado in 2014.
Prenatal & Postnatal
is a Northern Virginia native, wife and mommy of two with a passion for yoga and all things pregnancy! She has been practicing yoga for more than a decade and loves that it continually challenges her physically, mentally, and spiritually. Sarah completed her 200 hour teacher training with Lifepower Yoga and her 85 hour prenatal yoga training with Shakti Inspired, both in the Washington, DC area. Additionally, she has been trained in postnatal and baby & me yoga.
Sarah designs her prenatal classes to help women feel comfortable, peaceful, and empowered throughout their journey to motherhood. Through physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation – women will build strength and confidence while also enjoying ample opportunities for modifications, rest and relaxation.
In addition to teaching yoga, Sarah is a birth doula in association with Balanced Beginnings Doulas. Between caring for her two young children, teaching yoga and supporting mamas in birth, Sarah is in the thick of all things motherhood and could not enjoy it more! She is honored to be a yogi and a birth worker in such a wonderful and supportive community here in Boulder.

RYT & RPYT, fell in love with yoga nearly two decades ago. Her first yoga teacher was a sweet old lady broadcasting gentle hatha classes on Vermont public access television just before dawn. Erin soon moved on to actual classrooms with in-the-flesh teachers, and gravitated toward vinyasa, Anusara, women's yoga, and prenatal yoga.
Erin is a natural teacher, and was a licensed secondary educator before she committed to the yogini path. Her own journey through pregnancy and birth led her to focus her passion on serving women through this monumental transition, both as a prenatal yoga teacher and as a childbirth educator.
Erin is always seeking to grow her capacity for conscious embodied presence, on and off the mat. Her warm, relaxed approach offers students plenty of space and support to dive deeply into their own unique physical and spiritual experience.

took her first yoga class in 2008. After feeling the freedom of anxiety lifting and strength building both inside and out, she felt called to certify as a yoga teacher. She graduated from Denver’s Samadhi Center of Yoga in 2009. A month later she moved to Canada and began teaching various classes including vinyasa, mommy and me and hot yoga. Pregnant at the time, she quickly found her love for prenatal yoga growing and was mentored by a master teacher and gathered more techniques from a number of other wonderful teachers. It didn’t take long to learn that she had started on her mama-loving path. In 2013 she completed her Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training at Yo Mama in Boulder. She has a deep respect and adoration for mamas and babies - on the inside and out - and enjoys nothing more than leading these women through a class filled with love, laughter, asana and relaxation.
Shortly after having her first son, she was called to be a birth doula. After having her second son, she finally got certified and started serving mamas through this incredible experience. She is truly honored to do this work and is humbled by each birth.
Janine has her BS in Early Childhood Education and is working on her Childbirth Educator Certification. She lives in Longmont with her four amazing boys - one husband and three young sons. She spends her free time running, baking and attempting to sew.

Jessica is currently pursuing her 500hr certification with 90Monkeys in Boulder, Co. Her prenatal classes aim to support women in strengthening their connection to their own bodies in preparation for the demands of labor, birth, and parenting. It is through the practice of yoga that Jessica believes anything is possible. enjoys the strength, serenity, flexibility and laughter yoga brings to her life and those of her students. A yogini since 2000, Kendra incorporates Hatha and Vinyasa styles into her prenatal and postnatal yoga classes which focus on structural alignment, breathwork, and mind-body connection. She believes that practicing yoga during pregnancy and the postpartum period is a beautiful way to both physically prepare for childbirth and recovery, while also connecting emotionally and spiritually with our children. Kendra completed her 200 hours of yoga teacher training at the Hatha Yoga Center in Seattle, Washington in 2007, her Pre and Post Natal yoga teacher training at Yoga Tree in San Francisco, California in 2010, and a beginning Thai Yoga Massage training at Sunshine Massage School in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2009. She has taught yoga in three states (Washington, Kansas, and Colorado) as well as in Latin America (Colombia) and Asia (Turkmenistan, Indonesia, and China).
Her first yoga teacher was her mother. She grew up immersed in yoga, with the understanding that our thoughts are powerful and so is our ability to create healing for ourselves. As a kinesthetic learner, she loves to move and has a deep curiosity about how and why our bodies work and the subtle actions of yoga asana. It was this curiosity that led her to her first teacher training in 2007 at the Shambhava School of Hatha Yoga and has inspired her practice and study over the last 12 years. Yoga has enriched her life in many ways but she took it for granted, as the young and healthy often do, until the birth of her daughter in 2009. Yoga was her lifeline, keeping her grounded and connected as her entire world shifted around her and within her. Jessa's experiences of empowerment and healing during pregnancy, birth and motherhood, inspired her to share the powerful tools yoga provides with other women. She believes that living our most joyful and embodied lives is an inside out process. Yoga invites us to become aware of our unconscious movement and thought patterns that create energetic blocks in our bodies and our lives. Katie is a certified classical Pilates instructor, licensed massage therapist and a postpartum doula. Katie is a former professional ballet dancer and began practicing Pilates as both preventative care and injury rehabilitation. Katie focuses strongly on structural alignment during pregnancy in preparation for birth, as well as for the postpartum period to help recover, strengthen and reconnect with the body. She has extensive anatomical knowledge and her work focuses on each individual student to facilitate safe, rehabilitative and empowering movement. Katie has two daughters, and is currently in school to become birth doula and a certified nurse midwife.
